The Command: ⁷Little children, let no one deceive you.
                  A  He who practices righteousness
X                              B  is righteous,
                  A’  just as He is righteous.

X’                            B  is of the devil,
                  A’  for the devil has sinned from the beginning.
          The Promise: For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
