Jesus in the Book of Revelation

Revelation 1:5-6a. He is the faithful witness. He is the firstborn from the dead. He is the ruler over the kings of the earth. He loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood. He has made us kings and priests.

Revelation 1:7-8. He is coming again; in the clouds. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the End. He is the One who is and who was and who is to come. 

Revelation 1:13-16. He is the Son of Man. He is clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded with a golden band across His chest. His head and hair are white like wool, as white as snow. His eyes like a flame of fire. His feet like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace. His voice as the sound of rushing waters. Out of His mouth was a sharp two-edged sword. His countenance was like the shining sun.

Revelation 1:17. He is the First and the Last. He is the One who lives, and was dead, and behold, lives forevermore. He holds the keys of Hades and of Death.

Revelation 2—3. He knows everything (“I know your works”).

Revelation 2:7, 10, 17; 3:4, 12, 21. He gives eternal life.

Revelation 3:14. He is the Amen. He is the faithful and true Witness. He created all things.

Revelation 3:19. He loves, rebukes and chastens.

Revelation 5:5-6. He is the Lion of Judah. He is the Root of David. He has prevailed over death. He is the slain Lamb. He is all-powerful and all-knowing.

Revelation 5:9-10-13. He was slain. He redeemed us through His blood. He made us kings and priests (cf. 1:6a). He sits on the eternal throne.

Revelation 6:1, 16. He is Judge. He is the Lamb of Wrath.

Revelation 7:14-17. He is the enthroned Lamb. He gives eternal life. He shepherds and leads.

Revelation 12:4-5. He was born of a woman. He will rule the nations. He ascended to heaven.

Revelation 14:14. He is the Son of Man. He is king. He judges all things.

Revelation 15:3-4. He is Lord God Almighty. His ways are just and true. He is King. He is holy. He is Judge.

Revelation 16:5-7. He is righteous. He is the Lord. He is the One who is, who was, and who will always be. He is Almighty God. He is True. He is the Judge over all.

Revelation 16:15. He is coming quickly, like a thief.

Revelation 17:14. He is the Lamb who will always overcome. He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings.

Revelation 18:4. He loves the sinner until the very end, and desires they be saved.

Revelation 19:6-7. He is the Lord God, omnipotent one. He will bring all saved people together, and they are now His wife.

Revelation 19:11-16. He is the Faithful and True, sitting on a white horse in righteousness to judge all sin once-and-for-all. His eyes like a flame of fire. His head wears many crowns. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood. He is called, “The Word of God.” He has a sharp sword coming out of His mouth, striking the nations. He will rule with a rod of iron. He is Almighty God. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

Revelation 21:5-7. He sits on the throne. He makes all things new. His words are faithful and true. He is the final judge over all things. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. He gives eternal life.

Revelation 21:9. He is the Lamb and has a wife (the people of God).

Revelation 21:22-27. He is the Lamb, He is the Temple, He is the light. He wrote the Book of Life.

Revelation 22:1-5. He is the enthroned Lamb of God who brings salvation and healing. He is the light of the world and He shall reign forevermore.

Revelation 22:7, 12-13. He is coming quickly. He will reward. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.

Revelation 22:16-17. He is the Root and Offspring of David. He is the Bright and Morning Star. He is the Living Water.

Revelation 22:20-21. He is the Lord. He is the Christ. He is coming quickly!
