Revelation 1:3 – Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

BLESSED are those who read, hear, and keep the Word of God.
RATIONALE: The time is near!

Revelation 14:13 – And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

BLESSED are those who are saved when they die.
RESULT: We will have final rest from our labors!

Revelation 16:15 – “Behold, [Because] I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”

BLESSED are those who stay diligent and focused on our salvation. Saying “no” to sin.
RATIONALE: Jesus is coming like a thief to those who disbelieve!
RESULT: Not naked; clothed!

Revelation 19:9 – And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, [because] “These are the true words of God.”

BLESSED are those who accept Christ’s invitation of eternal life.
RATIONALE: The words of God are true words!

Revelation 20:6 – Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! [Because] Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

BLESSED are those who share in the 1st Resurrection.
RESULT: They will be priests and kings!  The 2nd Death has no power over them!

Revelation 22:7 – “And behold, [because] I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

BLESSED are those who keep the Word of God.
RATIONALE: Jesus is coming soon!

Revelation 22:14 – Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

BLESSED are those who are made righteous and pure.  
RESULT: Eternal Life and to Eternal Presence with Jesus!
